Winters has gone 3-0 against Fairfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Winters Warriors will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Fairfield Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Winters is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Fairfield better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Winters really get things going. Winters' defense stepped up to hand St. Helena a 4-0 shutout on Monday. The Warriors' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six games.

They hit St. Helena with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Muir Vickrey (2), Idaly Lopez Sanchez, and Alexys Penunuri.

Meanwhile, Fairfield lost 11-2 to Wood on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Falcons were already down 6-2.

Winters' win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Winters beat Fairfield 3-1 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Will Winters repeat their success, or does Fairfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
