The Lynwood Knights won the last time they faced the Centennial Huskies, and things went their way on Saturday too. Lynwood walked away with a 60-49 win over Centennial. With that win, Lynwood brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
Lynwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Syri prevo led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Shanilah Ewing, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals.
The victory got Lynwood back to even at 1-1. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Lynwood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sage Hill at 8:00 p.m. on November 20th. As for Centennial, they will face off against Harvard-Westlake at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
