Braswell typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Coppell proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Bengals with a sharp 17-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won eight matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Courtney Hargrove, who fired off three triples, four runs, and two RBI while going 3-for-4. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cecilia Bourque, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Coppell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 9-1-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The victory was the third in a row for Coppell, bringing their record up to 9-12-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Braswell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.
