The El Dorado Cougars waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They blew past Bradshaw Christian 59-26 on the road. Given El Dorado's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 554th, while Bradshaw Christian is ranked 1300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Alana Schneider, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 16 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Hennefer, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
El Dorado has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Bradshaw Christian, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado will take on Rosemont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bradshaw Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Galt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Galt is hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses.
