Paradise has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the S & S Consolidated Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Paradise is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than S & S Consolidated in Texas (Paradise is ranked 266th, while S & S Consolidated is ranked 578th).
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Paradise beat Whitesboro 37-32.
Paradise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Channing Beauvais, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Morgan Mitschke, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, S & S Consolidated gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They breezed by Callisburg at home to the tune of 70-21. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for S & S Consolidated considering their 20-point performance the game before.
Paradise has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. As for S & S Consolidated, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11.
Paradise didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against S & S Consolidated when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 50-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Paradise since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
