Lyons had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Strasburg Indians 16-0 on Friday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by eight  runs or more this season.
 Dahlia Oviatt was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Ava Vasquez, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Lyons  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Strasburg only posted  an  OBP of  .100.
Lyons is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Strasburg, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.
 Lyons has already played their next matchup,  a  4-3  defeat against Eaton on the 24th. Strasburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
