The E EF Academy will head out on the road to square off against The Webb Schools Gauls at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: E has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while The Webb Schools will arrive with five straight wins.
Back in December of 2023, E had to suffer through a rough 54-16 loss at the hands of Hill.
Meanwhile, The Webb Schools strolled past San Gabriel Academy with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 46-29.
The Webb Schools' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Pristine Thomas led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Xajani Badkar, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
E's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-6. As for The Webb Schools, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.
