Drew hasn't had much luck against The Bay School recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Dragons will welcome the Breakers at 3:30 p.m. The Bay School took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Drew, who comes in off a win.
Drew took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against San Francisco Waldorf, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Dragons had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 6-5 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Kyle Ebrado made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tejas Strand, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Drew is 2-1 when Strand posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Dylan Radcliffe, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, The Bay School lost 10-1 to University on Thursday. The Breakers haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Nate Won made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.
The Bay School's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Drew, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Drew has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like The Bay School struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Drew might still be hurting after the 14-4 defeat they got from The Bay School when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Dragons have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
