Washington Union is 1-6 against Immanuel since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Washington Union Panthers will be staying on the road to face off against the Immanuel Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on November 30th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, everything went Washington Union's way against Minarets as Washington Union made off with a 53-29 victory. The win was just what Washington Union needed coming off of a 50-22 loss in their prior game.
Washington Union found their leader in underclassman Jade Holland, who scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Holland has scored at least 25% of Washington Union's points. Makayla Hayes was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, Immanuel didn't have too much trouble with Madera South at home on Tuesday as they won 43-29.
Washington Union now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Immanuel, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
Washington Union came up short against Immanuel when the teams last played back in February, falling 41-35. Can Washington Union avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
