If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Chaska. On Friday they take on Kennedy at 7:00 PM. Neither Chaska nor Kennedy could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
Chaska had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They took a 0-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coon Rapids.
Last Thursday, Kennedy couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-34 punch to the gut against St. Louis Park.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
