The Ridgeview Wolf Pack can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They blew past Bakersfield, posting a 57-14 win at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ridgeview also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Ridgeview was led to victory by Kenadi Walton and Nevaeh Beserra. Walton scored eight points along with nine steals and five rebounds, while Beserra scored 18 points along with three steals. Alyse Brooks was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds.
The victory got Ridgeview back to even at 12-12. As for Bakersfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Ridgeview will head out on the road to take on Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1173rd, while Ridgeview is ranked 497th). Bakersfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
