Ava Persichetti was her usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of River Valley's points. Kenady Kitner was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Purchase Line's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
Purchase Line was dealt a bruising 69-31 defeat at the hands of River Valley in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Persichetti, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
