After losing to Eden Christian Academy the last time they met, Sewickley Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Sewickley Academy came out on top against the by a score of 47-35 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sewickley Academy.
Eden Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emmie Smith, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Allie Emswiler, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Sewickley Academy's victory ended a 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Eden Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
Sewickley Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eden Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge the Scotties at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
