The Redding Christian Lions's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Portola Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th. Redding Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Portola will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Redding Christian earned a 32-23 win over Chester.
Portola suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. Their tough 61-36 defeat to Quincy might stick with them for a while. Portola was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-16.
Redding Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Portola, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
Things could have been worse for Redding Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-40 loss to Portola in their previous meeting on Wednesday. Can Redding Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
