The Narragansett Mariners will square off against the Chariho Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Narragansett's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Chariho's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Narragansett took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Sunday. They came out on top against Prout by a score of 9-4. The Mariners haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Keller Prendergast was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Chariho got a big performance out of Landon Sumner, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Sumner has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Everett Knerr, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Narragansett's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Chariho, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
