Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Fredonia/Elk Valley 52-14. The Rams pushed the score to 38-14 by the end of the third, a deficit Fredonia/Elk Valley had little chance of recovering from.

Fredonia/Elk Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ethan Bryant, who picked up 49 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Fredonia/Elk Valley also got a significant boost from Kayson Farr, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 94 yards.

Riverton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Fredonia/Elk Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Riverton will welcome Caney Valley on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as the Rams come in on four and the Bullpups on three. Fredonia/Elk Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
