The Reseda Regents suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Sylmar on the road and fell 83-41. Reseda has not had much luck with Sylmar recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Sylmar was led to victory by Isabella Gonzalez and Mia Ceja. Gonzalez scored 29 points, while Ceja scored 38 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ceja has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Julie Pineda, who scored ten points.
Reseda bumped their record down to 4-7 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Sylmar, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.
Reseda will be playing at home against San Fernando at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sylmar, they will head out on the road to face off against Panorama at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Panorama has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
