That was a full 40% of Independence's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Aquino, who scored nine points.
Independence's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.7 points per game. As for Silver Creek, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
