Baseball Recap: South Hills Gets the Win

South Hills won the last time they faced La Salle and things went their way on Wednesday too. The South Hills Huskies walked away with a 4-1 win over the La Salle Lancers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Christian Santoyo looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single hit, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024.

At the plate, South Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Escalera, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

South Hills' record is now 2-0. As for La Salle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

South Hills wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Bonita on the 22nd. As for La Salle, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-4 victory against Crescenta Valley on the 22nd.
