The Glendora Tartans can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Colony 79-23 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 54-18.
Glendora was led to victory by Brianna Gomez and Rylie Anderson. Gomez scored 26 points along with six steals, while Anderson scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gomez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie Herrmann, who scored ten points along with six steals and five assists.
Glendora pushed their record up to 19-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.11 points. As for Colony, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.
Glendora will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Bonita at 5:30 p.m. Bonita will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Colony, they will head out on the road to face off against Alta Loma at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Alta Loma has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
