The Montgomery Aztecs can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They blew past San Ysidro, posting a 80-7 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Montgomery sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Jordan Whitehead continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Susanna Paliza was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and four steals.
Montgomery is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for San Ysidro, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-19.
Montgomery will head out on the road to challenge Chula Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery is coming into the matchup with four straight victories on the road, so Chula Vista is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for San Ysidro, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Victory Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. San Ysidro comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last ten games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
