The Sheyenne Mustangs will face off against the Minot Magicians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Sheyenne faced Century in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Sheyenne blew past Century 41-21. Considering Sheyenne has won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, Minot entered their tilt with Mandan with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Minot came out on top against Mandan by a score of 23-14 on Friday.
Sheyenne has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Minot, their victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-2.
Sheyenne was able to grind out a solid victory over Minot in their previous meeting back in September, winning 28-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sheyenne since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
