Head-Royce had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Jayhawks, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Head-Royce's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Head-Royce will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pilots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
