The Westminster Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 44-28 to Ocean View. Westminster was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Angelina Bado continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ocean View, scoring 33 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Bado has scored at least a third of Ocean View's points. Katelyn Solis was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Westminster dropped their record down to 4-21 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Ocean View, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-19.
Westminster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ocean View also has no future games currently scheduled.
