Breanna Montano continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Brawley's points. Maliyah Jackson Montoya was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Brawley's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Southwest EC, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brawley will take on Calipatria at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calipatria is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Southwest EC, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Central at 7:00 p.m. Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
