After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvary Baptist, Bethel Christian was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past The Grove School Ravens 15-1. The Kings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.
Jonah Thompson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Bethel Christian: the team is 8-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-8 otherwise.
In other batting news, Kaeden Milhouse was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
