There's no place like home for the Berkeley Yellowjackets, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against Arroyo on Friday as Berkeley made off with a 48-25 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-5.
Berkeley can attribute much of their success to Jamaia Harrison, who scored 21 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harrison has scored at least a third of Berkeley's points. Another player making a difference was Zariyah King, who scored nine points.
Berkeley pushed their record up to 9-14 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Arroyo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.
Berkeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arroyo also has no future games currently scheduled.
