If history really does repeat itself, Alexander might just drop another big game when he faces off against Smiths Station on Friday. Alexander rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in September of 2023.

Opelika picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Calvin Hughley. Hughley was dynamite, rushing for 127 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Opelika's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Hughley and Opelika will take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
