See the South Grand Prairie star in action.South Grand Prairie 5-foot-5 freshman guard Bryce Cook played giant-killer in leading the Warriors to a 56-51 victory over DeSoto, ranked No. 2 in the MaxPreps Texas Top 25. The loss was the first for DeSoto (26-2) in District 8-6A play.
Playing on his home floor, Cook ignited the Warriors (20-8) with 26 points, including all 15 of his team's fourth-quarter output. South Grand Prairie avenged a lopsided 52-26 loss at DeSoto last month and rejoins this week's rankings at No. 19.
