The Lititz Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a 47-30 bruising from Lancaster Country Day. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lititz Christian in their matchups with Lancaster Country Day: they've now lost seven in a row.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Afton Urquhart, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Urquhart is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Angela Scanlan was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Lititz Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Lancaster Country Day, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.
Lititz Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lancaster Country Day also has no future games currently scheduled.
