Lincoln won the last time they faced Crawford and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lincoln Hornets' defense stepped up to hand the Crawford Colts an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Hornets have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 12-3-1. As for Crawford, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will square off against Morse at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Morse knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge. Crawford has already played their next game (against Logan Memorial Education Campus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
