Haverford is 10-0 against the Aces since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Haverford Fords will play host again and welcome the Lower Merion Aces, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Haverford is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Aces in Pennsylvania (the Fords are ranked eighth, while the Aces are ranked 174th).
Last Thursday, Haverford strolled past the Jaguars with points to spare, taking the game 48-34.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-26, which was the final score in Lower Merion's tilt against the Pioneers on Tuesday. Lower Merion has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Haverford pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Lower Merion, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Everything went Haverford's way against the Aces in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the Fords made off with a 47-22 victory. Will Haverford repeat their success, or do the Aces have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
