You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely West Park's strategy against Cordova on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the West Park Panthers blew the Cordova Lancers out of the water with a 59-28 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

West Park had a senior duo take command as Aliyah Villarama went 6 of 14 on her way to 15 points and five boards and Ciara Miller posted 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. That's the most points Villarama has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jill Ngo, who scored 12 points.

West Park smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

West Park's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-10. As for Cordova, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

West Park has already played their next contest (against Antelope), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cordova didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-21 defeat against Inderkum on the 25th.
