Western Alamance is 6-0 against Cedar Ridge since December of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Western Alamance Warriors will be playing at home against the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Western Alamance's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, Western Alamance gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Williams 73-36 on the road.
Allie Sykes was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with two steals. She hasn't dropped below 21 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tina Bowers, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge had to suffer through a rough 62-33 loss at the hands of Eastern Alamance. Cedar Ridge has not had much luck with Eastern Alamance recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Western Alamance is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Cedar Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
Everything went Western Alamance's way against Cedar Ridge when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as Western Alamance made off with a 62-38 win. Does Western Alamance have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cedar Ridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
