Baconton Charter waltzed into their game on Thursday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They put the hurt on the Pelham Hornets with a sharp 15-3 win. Considering the Blazers have won 17 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Baconton Charter's victory was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Pelham, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Baconton Charter will take on Academy for Classical Education at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pelham, they will be playing at home against Pataula Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
