Lincoln entered their tilt with Live Oak on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Acorns. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Lincoln let Ryan Bernwanger and Daniel Saavedra run wild. Bernwanger went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double, while Saavedra scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Saavedra has posted since back in February.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Live Oak, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-7 record.

Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Acorns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
