Minix was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 65 yards. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger also got a significant boost from Tobias Tippmann, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.
Meanwhile, Leo entered their tilt with East Noble with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Leo skirted past East Noble 45-42.
Leo's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kylar Decker, who threw for 242 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. Dearious Carter was another key contributor, rushing for 188 yards while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
Their wins bumped Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger to 6-5 and Leo to 9-2.
