The Plumas Charter Warriors had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They really took it to Westwood for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-21 win at home. The win was just what Plumas Charter needed coming off of a 68-35 loss in their prior game.
Plumas Charter can attribute much of their success to Kali Banks, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Banks has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Niemah Lee, who scored 11 points.
Plumas Charter's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Westwood, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plumas Charter will take on Paradise Adventist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Princeton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
