San Jacinto is 5-0 against Perris since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The San Jacinto Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Perris Panthers at 5:30 p.m. San Jacinto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 409 points over their last six contests.
Last Thursday, San Jacinto strolled past Tahquitz with points to spare, taking the game 56-39.
San Jacinto's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luv'lee Sadler, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayanna Ligon, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Perris' four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They slipped by Citrus Hill 35-34.
San Jacinto pushed their record up to 15-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Perris, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Everything came up roses for San Jacinto against Perris in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 83-10 victory. With San Jacinto ahead 50-3 at the half, the match was all but over already.
