Jackson had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They put the hurt on the Forest Park Panthers with a sharp 9-2 win. Considering the Jaguars have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Forest Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Jackson will face off against Pace Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Forest Park, they will challenge Creekside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Seminoles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.21 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
