The Morrisville Bulldogs lost against the New Hope-Solebury Lions back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Morrisville's tough 44-21 defeat to New Hope-Solebury might stick with them for a while.
When it comes to explaining why Morrisville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Faith Graham. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points.
Morrisville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for New Hope-Solebury, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morrisville will face off against Girard College at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Girard College focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Wednesday. As for New Hope-Solebury, they will head out on the road to face off against Cheltenham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
