There's no place like home for the High Tech NC Raptor, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 32-21 win over Warner on Thursday. The score was all tied up 15-15 at the break, but High Tech NC was the (much) better team in the second half.
High Tech NC was led to victory by Analia Barraza and Riley Hernandez. Barraza scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Hernandez dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hernandez has scored at least 25% of High Tech NC's points.
High Tech NC's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. As for Warner, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.
High Tech NC will head out on the road to face off against High Tech CV at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warner will be home for the holidays to greet Chula Vista Learning Community Charter on Monday. Chula Vista Learning Community Charter comes in on a streak of failing to score more than nine points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
