Make it eight blowout wins for the Bozeman Bucks this season. They were the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over Franklin County. Winning may never get old, but Bozeman sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Bozeman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Gray, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Gray has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Patterson, who scored 17 points.
Several Seahawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lonnie O'Neal, who scored four points along with six rebounds and five steals. Sadiq Jones was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Bozeman pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Franklin County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
Bozeman will head out on the road to take on North Bay Haven Academy at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. North Bay Haven Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three matchups. As for Franklin County, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against North Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m.
