The Pine Bush Bushmen and the Middletown Middie Bears squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Pine Bush Bushmen had to settle for second. Pine Bush ended up on the wrong side of a tough 44-20 walloping at the hands of Middletown. Pine Bush has struggled against Middletown recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Although Pine Bush took the loss, they still got scores from Logan Hawley, Tyler Sheeley, and Plexico Brooks.
Pine Bush's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Middletown, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Pine Bush does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Middletown will head out on the road to face off against Newburgh Free Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Newburgh Free Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
