Dunmore has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Mid Valley Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dunmore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Dunmore stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 67-16 victory over Carbondale Area at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Dunmore has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mid Valley beat Old Forge 53-49 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mid Valley.
It was another big night for Elise Larson, who scored ten points along with seven assists and six steals. Her trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Chiara Zavislak, who scored 11 points along with five assists.
Dunmore pushed their record up to 9-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Mid Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Dunmore against Mid Valley in their previous matchup on January 3rd as the squad secured a 61-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dunmore since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
