The home team had won the previous four meetings between Shattuck and Turpin, and Shattuck kept the tradition alive. The Indians were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Cardinals on Saturday. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

Shattuck pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Turpin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Turpin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-4 win against Guymon on the 23rd. Hopefully Shattuck paid attention to the Cardinals' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cardinals on Saturday.
