Mountain View entered their tilt with South Forsyth on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the War Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bears have posted since August 17, 2024.

Olivia Storey was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Peyton Patterson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

The victory got Mountain View back to even at 3-3. As for South Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View will head out to square off against Mill Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for South Forsyth, they are taking a road trip to take on North Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the War Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
