After three games on the road, San Pedro is heading back home. They will take on the Narbonne Gauchos at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
San Pedro pushed their score all the way to 55 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 76-55 walloping at the hands of Rolling Hills Prep. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss San Pedro has suffered since December 5, 2023.
Loss or not, San Pedro got some senior leadership from Noelani Raigans and Shalia Coleman. Raigans scored 16 points along with three steals, while Coleman. scored 19 points. Raigans is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Maia Wooldridge was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Narbonne was the victim of a tough 55-31 defeat at the hands of Carson on Friday.
San Pedro's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Narbonne, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
San Pedro strolled past Narbonne when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 53-36. Will San Pedro repeat their success, or does Narbonne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
