The matchup between Memphis East and Overton  on Thursday hardly resembled the  1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Mustangs never let the Wolverines get on the board and left with  a   9-0  win. The result was nothing new for Memphis East, who have now won six contests by four  goals or more  so far this season.
Their offense was hitting Overton from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.  Kate Ashby led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
Memphis East's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Overton, they now  have a losing record of 0-1-1.
 Looking ahead, Memphis East will welcome University  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Overton, they will challenge Kingsbury at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
