The Redwood Christian Eagles can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Valley Christian 58-8 at home. The victory was nothing new for Redwood Christian as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Nia Rogers was her usual excellent self, scoring 34 points along with eight steals and six assists. That makes it 21 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Redwood Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chisom Nwebube, who scored ten points along with six assists and three steals.
Redwood Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Valley Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Redwood Christian will head out on the road to challenge the Jayhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Head-Royce is on a six-game streak of home wins, the Eagles a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Valley Christian will take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
